The Mauritian Association has been in existence for over 10 years. We have decided to promote the Association and Mauritius in a more aggressive way and have recently employed a person to fulfil a Marketing/Public Relations role to assist in this regard as there are currently over 40 000 Mauritian people living in the KZN region.

Goals and objectives of the Association are:
1. Increase membership of the Association, enough to be able to own our own clubhouse /premises in the future
2. Increase the number of functions and events held
3. Promote Mauritian tourism
4. Promote Mauritian business and businessmen
5. Assist with travel arrangements for people travelling between Durban and Mauritius.
6. Facilitate with the application of Mauritian passports
7. Fundraising to assist with the needs of elderly Mauritian people living in an around the greater Durban area.
8. Become a “one stop shop” for any person needing assistance with any business associated to Mauritius
